Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

By using Email Migration Tool ("the tool"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the tool.

What this tool does

The tool is a free, browser-based utility that connects to two IMAP email servers you specify and copies mail from one to the other, on your instruction. It does not create, host, or manage email accounts itself.

Your responsibilities

No warranty

The tool is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While it's built to save progress incrementally, retry transient failures, and avoid data loss or duplication under normal conditions, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or a fault-free migration in every environment, network condition, or hosting configuration — including the shared hosting environment this tool is commonly deployed on.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost or delayed email — arising from use of this tool. Use it at your own risk, and test with a small mailbox first if the migration is important to you.

Third-party services

This tool connects to third-party email providers (for example Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or your web host's mail servers) that are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by us. All trademarks, product names, and company names mentioned are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

Changes

We may update the tool or these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

This is a general-purpose terms template and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction — worth a professional review before you rely on it for a commercial launch.
